Life out if balance?
My oh my oh my!
What is going on?
If you listen to the news or talk to others much you understand the world seems to be falling apart.
Guess what...maybe it is!
You know as well as I.
But one thing I know for sure is there are many angry, lost, desperate people out there completely detached from their spirit.
We as a humanity are at an important place in history. I have no idea why I feel this but I know it is so.
This is the time we need to reach inside and see what resides within.
I had a revelation the other day while making our latest film. We do these impromptu videos in case you haven't noticed.
Spirit led me to talk about the word abide.
Suddenly I felt overwhelmed with emotion and understood that when we are told to abide.... it isn't just about abiding in HIM....but allowing HIM to abide in us.
Not that I really know what that means, but I feel it.
It provides comfort and courage to understand everything is alright. I am able to remain in a calm, comforted space although all around me might be spinning out of control.
Perhaps if you feel like everything is falling apart it's time to do a personal check and see what the word abide means to you.

Just A Small Reminder!
When you look around and see the negative events circling the earth, many emotions are pulled from your soul. It is easy to become confused and lost in direction.
Times like these remind us of our humanity and the frailness of our being. It is overwhelming not having all the answers in life sometimes.
Perhaps...we aren't suppose to! Perhaps....we are simply to love unconditionally and push forward doing our best.
I don't remember being told everything rested on my shoulders. I have learned to make wiser choices and accept that, not all things will be as I wish them.
But life still churns on.....make the most of it.

Start Your Week With Overall Enthusiasm!
It's Monday again! Boy the weeks just keep rolling past don't they. We get to plan out our week and squeeze in all those demanding extras which have a way of cropping up. Perhaps we need to remain enthusiastic about life without stressing over it. I use to be quite rigid about my schedule.
Monday- laundry
Tuesday- Ironing
Wednesday- clean upstairs
Thursday- clean downstairs
Friday- bake and shop for food
Saturday- outside work
Sunday- spend with family or catch up on unfinished chores
We had our spring cleaning which meant a thorough deep cleaning of everything. Which was repeated during the fall. Floors, windows, carpets all scrubbed clean.
No longer am I such a control freak. Now, when you can't see out the window, clean it. If you trip over something pick it up and put it away. When you find the floor, sweep it. If you can't tell what color it is, wash it.
I make time for family and friends more often. Sometimes I even spend time on myself for a change. I spend time online blogging and learning, probably more than I should.
So far nobody has fallen ill or died and only occasionally has it become impossible to find something if you look hard enough. But after a while even this can become a stress situation as well. Life is about balance and what works best for you and your family.
Some form of routine can be helpful in keeping you from experiencing total chaos, and I have decided to go back to a little more self discipline. Every once in a while you need to reevaluate what works and doesn't work for you in life and make changes. Remain fluid in thinking and don't forget input from the rest of the family, cooperation is key in success.
But however you choose to live life....do it with overall enthusiasm!

Step Away From The Drama.
To many problems in your life? Tired of listening to yourself whine and complain? Stuck in negative situations? Feel like life has spun out of control? Does your energy felt drained? Tired of others whining and complaining?
Sound like you or someone close to you is suffering from:
that fatal disease known as:
This disease strikes any age or gender and has no regard for social status. Although it might seems more apparent in females with some financial stability, it wracks havoc wherever it gains a foothold. It does seem to be contagious among certain groups. It also tends to exhibit addictive tendencies. It is a tough disease to cure but with determination it may be eradicated.
How.....Walk Away From The Drama!!!
Yes, it sounds so simple, but I assure you it won't be that easy. Your must really want to be cured and willing to go through a rather difficult detox.
Should you decide to follow through, your only hope of achieving a sense of well being is to follow the following procedures.
First step: Accept responsibility for your free will! Be accountable for yourself, to yourself.
Second Step: Constantly monitor your every word, action and deed for negative thinking. Sure this part can be exhausting at first but it gets easier as you stick to it on a daily basis. Don't be surprised to find yourself doing it on a second to second basis when you first start, due to heightened sensitivities.
Third Step: Discontinue relationships with other Drama Queen immediately, they are toxic and will hamper your recovery.
Fourth Step: Refuse to participate in negative conversations, especially gossip. Practice positive thinking and take positive actions.
Fifth Step: This is perhaps the most difficult part of the cure....love yourself with a healthy ego!
Sixth Step: Listen to others with compassion, experience sympathy for others.
Warning - You may experience some long term side effects: you may feel pounds lighter, have a wonderful glow, or even find interesting new friends and interests.

Changes, ch,ch,ch ch, changes!
Changes, sometimes we love them and sometimes we hate them. This past two weeks provided opportunity to observe and participate in many of them. Change definitely has the ability to bring out the best and worst in people, me included.
For example, my mother has simply been amazing in her willingness to embrace major changes in life. This past week she relocated into an assisted living facility. For two years now I have been trying to convince her this would be best. Suddenly, as if out of nowhere she made an appointment and fell in love. All those "things" she held onto so long and thought of as so important went to the wayside.
Of course there are things she would prefer to have more to her liking, but she has adapted easier than any of us thought possible. She has obtained grace and dignity with this move. I even think many of her fears have also subsided.
With the loss of my father-in-law, my mother-in-law has also stepped up to the plate and shown remarkable strength and substance. Things she would have felt beyond her ability to accomplish now she does with little support.
While these women have embraced the necessary changes of life, I have also observed how others family members turn everything into a negative experience and choose to live miserable lives. One can only hope that at some point they too will learn to ride the roller coaster of life with a little more willingness and an open heart.
It simply proves yet again, how we constantly have the ability to change up our energy and utilize our free will to enhance our life experience. Look around your space and see what needs review, and create the life you want.

Are You Going Through Life A Chameleon?
Sometimes we pretend to want change and work very hard to convince others we in fact have changed. Usually...we have found a way to blend in; adapting to whatever others expect or want from us. This allows us to remain true to ourselves internally but living a falsehood externally. Most of the time these lifestyle can't be maintained for very long, generally six months or so, based upon experience.
As a human, molding yourself to be what others want you to be never leads to a positive outcome. In fact just the opposite. It can create misunderstandings, mistrust and destroy the very thing you were attempting to achieve in the first place.
If you want to change then muster up your intent and go for it. If you choose otherwise, honesty with yourself and others is the only viable option.
Anyone who has attempted change understands exactly the commitment required to obtain their desired outcome. Change is never an easy path, often fraught with diversions and setbacks. It is like the Universe challenges your original intent and desire, testing your will. Do you really, really, want this? These are the moments weakness can overcome our desire and derail our train.
Sometimes life circumstances require us to be more adaptable. Although it might feel like a better idea to just stay in the moment, perhaps taking a risk or letting go of old parameters, is exactly what is needed.
Be true to your desires and aim toward being your authentic self. Find your nature and nurture it fully. Always remember change isn't easy for those around you to understand and embrace. These are your changes, they may not be on board. Sometimes really decent people undermine the efforts of others trying a new path. Usually fear of forced personal changes fuel their insecurity.
Stay strong in your convictions and work spiritually towards that goal. Remember compassion for those unable to understand your intent. Practice gratitude and ask for guidance along the way.
But...it might just be fun to be a chameleon for a little bit ...don't ya think?
