Life out if balance?

My oh my oh my!

What is going on?

If you listen to the news or talk to others much you understand the world seems to be falling apart.

Guess what...maybe it is!

You know as well as I.

But one thing I know for sure is there are many angry, lost, desperate people out there completely detached from their spirit.

We as a humanity are at an important place in history. I have no idea why I feel this but I know it is so.

This is the time we need to reach inside and see what resides within.

I had a revelation the other day while making our latest film. We do these impromptu videos in case you haven't noticed.

Spirit led me to talk about the word abide.

Suddenly I felt overwhelmed with emotion and understood that when we are told to abide.... it isn't just about abiding in HIM....but allowing HIM to abide in us.

Not that I really know what that means, but I feel it.

It provides comfort and courage to understand everything is alright. I am able to remain in a calm, comforted space although all around me might be spinning out of control.

Perhaps if you feel like everything is falling apart it's time to do a personal check and see what the word abide means to you.

It just might make you day, or even the rest of your life easier.

Winter

This morning the world outside my window is covered with a beautiful layer of snow, of course to see it requires finding a window not covered with frost. The driveway is  an amusement park all by itself, complete with a slip n slide, alien planet simulation, dodge ball of snow, not to mention bumper cars trying to reach the main road, without taking out the mailbox. If you are fortunate enough to reach this goal, one must step on the gas to propel the vehicle onto the road, or forever stay stuck in place, at least until spring thaw. Now it gets exciting, although not a main road it none the less has frequent cars moving past as I attempt to exit my cabin fever local. So, swerving a bit, I go for it, smiling at my achievement. Conqueror that I am, being master of my universe, brings a satisfied smile to my face, lookout Chinese buffet, here I come, guilt free after working so hard to get out.

  1. Great Blog! Reminds me of the many times I had to take a running start to get up the hill to my house...Never leaving off the gas...or you're STUCK! But that's only half the challenge...then I had to get up my driveway and into the garage! I'd have to open the garage door before I even tried to get up my driveway and keep moving...I miss those days...But the good news is there's also a great Chinese Buffet...one mile away! ha!
